By Ezra Klein
Time for an announcement: As of July 1, I’ll be starting a biweekly column in The Washington Post’s food section. IFA readers will know about my side interest in the policy implications of things I put on my plate. This’ll be a place for me to explore all that. There might even be graphs!
But, like a real blogger, I find titling things to be terribly unpleasant. So with the permission of my kind editors in the Food section, we’re crowdsourcing it. We’re begging you to name the new column. So head over to All We Can Eat and give us some ideas. Winner will have, well, named a new column in The Washington Post.

How about White House Watch I understand that is not being used at the Post.
They are off my bookmarks, so good luck to your new venture with a dying newspaper.

[...] Young and Hungry reports that Kim O’Donnel is ending her blog, “A Mighty Appetite,” of The Washington Post. Sad – I really liked that blog. Did they let her go to let on Ezra Klein? [...]

Theiving Tweakers Drive Black Mustang Lic#328XTM, Need Names&Location (They Are Stealing Cars in Kitsap, Pierce) $1 – Washington State Forums Poulsbo Advertisment
Black Mustang 1988-1991? Hatchback Lic# 328 XTM
We now have the License plate number from one of the two black Mustang hatchbacks driven by the tweakers ripping
people off as reported between TACOMA SHELTON SEABECK BELFAIR GIG HARBOR.POULSBO, AND INTO JEFFERSON COUNTY
The one car is about a 1990, black Ford Mustang, with aftermarket wheels and a stick shift. Lic # is 328 XTM
It has large white decals across the top of the front and back windows, and it is missing a large part of the right side
of the rear spoiler. The second car they drive is also Mustang and is about an 85, hatchback, in primer black.
On occasion these same two guys also drive an early 80’s Grey over Black Chevy S10 pickup with no canopy .
Known to belong to these two Mustang Tweeker Guys, this. S10 has been reported prowling east of Gig Harbor and in the Parkland area.
If you know the name of these two guys or are aware of any location where they hang out, please email the information.
Through Craigslist postings, and in an attempt to recover my ST0LEN Liime Dodge Noen, I have been contacted
by many other residents of North Kitsap, Gig Harbor, Seabeck, and else where, who have also had their
car taken or homes broken into. I Recently I heard from a property owner who lives in the South West Kitsap area where
these tweakers were seen repeatedly and just across into Pierce County. Seems that a Rotwiller got a hold of one of them and accidentally
drained a little blood while they were trying to steal a vehicle out there. Like me, ALL of these tweaker’s victims care
more about catching these guys than their car, and most have come to realize the cops are not going to catch them.
Earlier, from late January thru March, there were a rash of car thefts and attempted thefts, prowling by car,
and break-ins in the area North of Poulsbo and West of Gamble Bay. There these guys drove a older black Mustang
and frequented Big Valley, Sawdust Hill, and Pioneer Hill areas. They have now also been reported in the Prowling,
Breaking in, and Stealing cars in the Seabeck Area. Cops have been notified. If you have have any information, have been a
victim in this area, or know someone who was, please contact me by phone 360-5O9=5 63 4 or email.
Thanks for the input thus far …… Lets Keep Sharing iinformation and Get These Guys!
I am Colin Young and I store junk cars on my property.
Request:
Kitsap County Department of Community Development is requesting approval to abate a
condition that has created a nuisance on property owned by Lorna A. Young, and Colin Young
as equitable owner of the property for which other means of enforcement have been ineffective.
The public nuisance is described as the creation of a vehicle storage lot by having more than
10 vehicles stored on-site, and having an accumulation junk motor vehicles and parts thereof
unscreened and in plain view on the property. The means of abatement for this nuisance would
be for Kitsap County to have the vehicles, including junk motor vehicles and parts thereof,
removed from the property at the owner’s expense.
Project Location:
The project site is located in North Kitsap County on Big Valley Road, south of the Manor Farm
Inn Bed and Breakfast. This site has no physical address. For purposes of this report, the
property will be referred to as the “Big Valley Property.”
